about the owner
I am Rob Pullen, the proprietor of Leicester Running Shop which has been trading since 2007. I’ve been in the running scene in Leicestershire for many years, regularly competing in the Summer and Winter road leagues, various Cross Countries and fell events.
I’m a member of Westend Runners and the Bowline Climbing Club. I have previously been a member of Wigston Phoenix, Owls AC and Birstall RC. During my school days I ran for school, county, and the Coritanians in the 800 and 1500 metres and Cross Country events.
Since university, where I studied Biology, I had worked in several technical positions before starting the shop.

He‘s a keen runner, member of Roadhoggs Running Club, regularly takes part in LRRL races and the occasional XC race, and is a keen road cyclist too. He’s coached by his daughter (who‘s a good runner) and tell’s him he needs to run faster.
Previously he worked in the service department at car dealership.
Jacquie joined the shop team in Sept 2021 and then in Oct ran a Marathon PB at London coming 22nd in her age group, which is pretty impressive having competitively run for years.
She runs for Harborough AC competing in the North Midlands XC league, Sutton Park Relays, many Park Runs and lots of individual races.
She worked as a GCSE and A level teacher for many years in Market Harborough.
Andy has recently started working at Leicester Running Shop but is knowledgeable on shoe technologies and gait analysis. He’s a member of Wigston Phoenix Running Club, a committed cyclist, and runs Flux bicycle frame building company specialising in cargo and urban cycles.
